Last night, the Atrium Meeting Room at the Southeast Event Centre was abuzz with enthusiasm as the Rotary Club of South Eastman hosted its successful 'Learn & Mingle' evening.

The event kicked off with an engaging 15-minute interactive tour of the Rotary Learning Centre, which was presented by session facilitator Kris Ontong as a centralized online platform offering free, self-paced courses to Rotarians worldwide. Attendees discovered how the platform, accessible 24/7 on desktop and mobile devices , is designed to empower members with tools for creating lasting change. The session highlighted a comprehensive curriculum with course categories ranging from Leadership & Club Management to Professional Development, demonstrating how members can enhance everything from their service skills to their career growth and even earn a certificate of completion to showcase their progress.

Once the learning segment concluded, the spirit of fellowship carried over to the downstairs lounge beside Forum & Bistro. The 'mingle' portion of the evening saw Rotarians and guests engaged in lively conversations, sharing stories and forging new connections over refreshments. Many discussions were sparked by the presentation, with members talking excitedly about which courses to tackle first and how they could apply the strategic project planning frameworks in the community. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of local camaraderie and global vision, reinforcing how the Learning Centre connects a worldwide community of learners. It was a wonderful reminder that by learning and growing together, the club is better equipped to serve as "People of Action" and make a lasting difference.
